...a place to belong |
|
Our Goal is to ensure that every person who comes to Celebration Church is fully aware of all the support available for them, to provide the foundation for membership and to encourage and track their active participation in ministry using our Next Step System. At Celebration Church membership is the first step in our "Next Step System" and is championed by our Community Purpose team. Celebration Church encourages everyone to continually take their next step in Christian maturity beginning with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our Membership Team focuses on directing people to complete the Membership Encounter, and the New Members class (The Starting Line) then connecting members to Small Groups. We believe God's Power is expressed through the Christian Community which is our Small Groups. Small Group is not something we do, it is who we are!
We look forward to welcoming you into the family! |

Becoming a Member
Becoming a member of Celebration Church involves a three-step process: completing the Membership Encounter, confirming a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and the Starting Line class. These classes will provide a clear understanding of the history, structure, vision, strategy, purpose, core values and expectations of Celebration Church. From the Membership Encounter you'll go into either the Foundations Training Class (new believers) or the new members' class called The Starting Line.
Is an informative session which takes place on the forth Sunday of each month. Registration for this encounter is free and is open to everyone interested in learning more about Celebration Church. This encounter is facilitated by Robbie Davis, Senior Pastor and Larry Walker, Pastor of Community at Celebration Church. We look forward to having you join us at the next Membership Encounter.
Expectations
What should you expect from Celebration Church?
Spiritual Support
In times of crisis, as well as under ordinary circumstances, the Pastor and Celebration Church stand ready to assist you in your spiritual growth and development. "...But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lack it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it." -1Cor. 12:24-26
Each worship service is focused on declaring to you the whole counsel of God.
"We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words." - 1 Cor. 2:12-13
Pastoral Visitations
The Pastors and or the Group/Ministry Leaders make every attempt to visit those who are sick for prayer and counseling where needed. Please be sure to call the church to let us know your needs. If you desire counseling, please contact one of the staff Pastors, to make your initial appointment with them.
Opportunities to Serve
The Lord places persons in the Body of Christ as it pleases Him. Whatever gifts you possess will make a place for you (1 Corinthians 12:31). No one will force you to assume responsibilities. (1 Chronicles 21:1, 5-18). Training opportunities will be provided for whatever areas of responsibility you assume at Celebration Church (2 Timothy 2:2).
The Bible records that the first believers met day by day, not only in the Temple (the gathering of the whole Church) but in their homes, eating with glad and humble hearts, praising God and enjoying the good will of the people (Acts 2:46, 5:42, 20:20). This describes a special rhythm of the Church; the small group providing the intense community life which gave depth to the large-group gatherings. Our expectations are based upon the goal of you having a balanced and productive Christian life.
